Desk Copy Policy

Professors and instructors teaching university and college courses can take advantage of the Carswell Desk Copy program. Desk copies are complimentary copies of Carswell text books that course instructors can request to consider for course adoption. The following outlines our policy on desk copies:

  • Texts are generally identified within the academic website and in the academic catalogue and are the only books available as desk copies unless specifically requested
  • Student texts are generally softcover and are already priced for student sales, which means only the bookstore discount is applied
  • There is a maximum of five (5) review copies per professor per year. Exceptions are granted for professors teaching multiple courses
  • Minimum student enrollment in the class is 20
  • No looseleaf or supplemented texts are included in this offer
  • Only international texts identified on the academic website and in the academic catalogue can be provided as desk copies
  • Academic desk copies are sent to academic addresses
  • Desk copies will be stamped “Desk Copy”

For further information, please contact your academic representative.
