About the Author(s)
Mr. Ruel is a civil litigator who practices principally in the fields of public and administrative law. He has been a member of the Quebec bar since 1995 and joined the Law Society of Upper Canada in June of 2007. Mr. Ruel has acquired an intimate knowledge of the functioning of public inquiries and speaks regularly about the subject. He was Commission counsel to the Cornwall Public Inquiry and Government counsel for the proceedings of the Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities.
